Distress i've been reading a book i borrowed from my boss..
its a true account by a Camodian..
its a very sad story..
disclosing the existence of a very cruel society..
Khmer Rouge..cruel ppl
heard of them in my gp classes while i was still in jc..
today, i read the part whereby
the author's father was taken away by the Khmer Rouge soldiers..
and tears really filled my eyes..
i stopped reading it immediately,
giving myself some time to settle down..
the story is in such details that
you can really feel for the characters involved..
i felt anger,sympathy and a tinge of sadness..
these emotions just overcome me when i read this book..
the author is really very lucky to have made it to the America ..
Some words are best said in silence.
